Tools & Parts
1x 7mm Spanner (or pliers)
1x 2.5mm Hex Key
1x Phillips Screwdriver (PH2)
1x Sidecutters
1x Ziptie
Removing the Pump
Make sure the power is off, and the roof and backplate are removed
Take a picture of the pump and surrounding wires for reference
Disconnect the vacuum pump cable
Disconnect the pneumatic tubes
Undo the pump mount bolts using the screwdriver spanner
Slide the pump out through the mounting plate
Installing the New Pump
Slide the pump through the mounting plate, leading with the cable. Ensure the outer port overhangs the frame
Fasten the bolts
Attach pickup head tube
Install silencer tube. Loop underneath and through the hole in the frame, and tuck behind the bolt thread
Connect cable
Ziptie pump cable to pump housing
