You can remove the backplate from your CardBot. This gives you access to the rear of the pickup head gantry, the stack mechanisms, and some of the electronics. You may need to remove the backplate to conduct maintenance or fix issues.

Items:

  • 1 x 2.5mm hex key

Steps:

  1. Remove the door and put it aside

  2. Lie the CardBot on it's front face (you may want to place a towel or something similar underneath to prevent scratching)

  3. Using the 2.5mm hex key, undo the 10 bolts on the back of the CardBot (4 down each side and 2 at the bottom) and the 2 bolts at the back of the roof - set them all aside

  4. Gently pull the backplate out (you may need to jiggle it a little)

Replace the backplate by reversing the steps - push the backplate in so the bolt holes are roughly aligned, then screw in the bolts (get all of the bolts in loosely and then fully tighten them) with the 2.5mm hex key
