We are more than happy for you to purchase a secondhand CardBot from a third party! If you are currently considering purchasing a secondhand unit, we are happy to provide advice and support to make the purchase a smooth process. If you have already purchased, we're excited to start working with you and will help get you up and running.

The first step after purchasing a secondhand unit is to sign up for the Merchant subscription - this covers you for the support steps described below.

There are some slight differences compared to our policies for new purchases directly from us.

Firstly, we cannot guarantee the condition of the unit - there may be issues including cosmetic damage or malfunctioning parts. We will work with you to resolve any issues though!

Most issues will be able to be resolved by you/your staff, with our support on a phone/video call. For any major issues, your unit will need to go to our technician (in the US) for repair.

If a secondhand unit needs to be sent in, there is a fee of $500 USD. That fee is only for that initial repair - future repairs will be covered by your Merchant subscription. The same goes for a parts replacement- the initial fee is $250 USD but future parts are covered by the Merchant Subscription.
