The tagging feature allows you to attach additional information to your cards. It's a powerful organisation tool that helps link your physical collection and your digital collection on CardCastle. For example, you can tag your cards with their location (#box1) or mark a card as #altered or #signed.

There are two ways to tag your cards - when you are adding the card/s to your collection or when you are editing a card already in your collection.

There are a few ways to tag cards as you are adding them your collection. Firstly, cards in a Session can be tagged after clicking the "Commit to Collection" button - a window appears where you can type in tags. Secondly, you can tag cards that you are adding manually in a similar way - after clicking "+ Commit to Collection", a window will appear where you can type in tags. To create a new tag, type the new tag into the blank tag box and press Enter. To add an existing tag to the cards, type the first few letters of the tag into the blank tag box and any matching tags will appear below. Once you click the "+ Commit to Collection" button, your cards will be added with the tags attached.

To tag a card or a group of cards already in your collection, go to your Collection page. Click on the card you wish to tag (if you are tagging a group of cards, select those cards and click the View Selection button) and then click Edit. To add a new tag to the card/s, type into the blank tag box and press Enter. To add an existing tag to the card/s, type the first few letters of the tag into the blank tag box and any matching tags will appear below.
